The Westmorland Animal Hospital & CARMA Christmas Fundraiser is our third event this holiday season. It is being held on Dec. 7th from 9 am to 1 pm. It is being held at the Westmorland Animal Hospital on 5 Robson Ave. They are having a Santa to have pictures taken with your fur family, a tentative BBQ and family oriented activities. The Christmas Basket will be there to purchase tickets on. Our Carma chapter will be there in full force to assist everyone. MEOWY CHRISTMAS!
This event is a fundraiser for our TNR program. Which in turn, pays the vet bills and allows us to rescue those kittens that would not survive if we left them behind until they were old enough for TNR.
Come out and help us fill a truck with food for the feral cats, we all know winter is coming and we will need to help feed these kitties. We prefer dry food, any brand will do!
We will also be taking bottles and clothing. See the poster for more details!
We hope to see you all there!
Our annual bake sale will take place in support of the Kids Against Cancer relay team on Sunday December 8th at 10 am until 2 pm. We will be accepting Baked goods for this event, so if you like to bake please let Nicole know what you would like to make at firstname.lastname@example.org or 902-318-2278
We will have our gift ware available, catnip pillows, dish cloths, christmas bulbs, tumblers, mugs, tea cups, and lots more! See you there
We will be having a giant yard sale on October 5, 2019 at Sharon St John Church at 33 Acadia Ave in Stellarton from 9am-1pm. We are accepting donations of gently used or new items up until October 4th. Admission to the yard sale is $2, children are free.
In the spring of 2019, tragedy struck the Carma moncton chapter with dozens of severe cases of Panleukopenia (Feline Parvrovirus). This virus is a severe form a gastro-intestinal infection that causes extreme dehydration and is often deadly to cats, but especially vulnerable Kittens. Although the volunteers and fosters at Carma Moncton provided exemplary supportive care and veterinary inpatient care assistance when needed to the affected cats, multiple adult cats and kittens lost their battle with this deadly virus.
In a plea for help, the media coverage from this tragic event has rallied the local community together and people generously offered their support to our upcoming fundraising events and we received many generous donations.
There are still many cats in our care and a few kittens still fighting their battle with Panleukopenia. We need your help. Please see our upcoming events on the News section of the webpage, or please follow our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/carmamoncton/ for more information of how you could help save lives today!
