We always welcome new volunteers.  There are a number of ways you can help.  Call 454-2000 or stop by any of our fundraisers for more information.  We look forward to seeing you!!

If you would like ca-r-ma's help, there are 2 mandatory rules.  You must be able to provide daily feeding year round and provide adequate shelter

I need a home

My sister and I were abandoned near a farm in Tracyville. I don't know why. We were hungry and frightened so we asked at a farmhouse for help. They took us in and fed us but two cats, two dogs and some horses already lived there and while the cats like my sister, they don't like me because I am a boy. They chase me away and tell me I can't live there.  So I still need a home. I am a spiffy gray tabby, about 6 months old, with great big green eyes and bright white paws. I am told I am handsome and that I have very good manners. I love to be close and purr when petted. At the farm they say I am special so they will have me neutered and vetted if someone can give me a permanent home.

At the farm, they say I look like a “Thomas”. Here is my photo:

Linda Neilson and Tony Rhinelander are keeping me in a separate room at the farm for now.  If you can give me a permanent home, you can reach them at: 368-2558

Willows Story

We adopted our kitten from Ca-r-ma.org during a special event held at The Barking Lot this past summer.  I found the many volunteers there to be very conscientious individuals, clearly devoted to the care and well being of the rescued kittens.

The follow up care Ca-r-ma.org provides is thorough and efficient, focussing on the needs of the animal beginning with primary vet care through to final adoption.

We are very happy with our kitten, Willow has become a wonderful addition to our family.  She is sweet natured and confident and has blended easily with our other pets.  Typically energetic, curious, loving, and affectionate, Willow is thriving and maturing into a lovely cat.
